Holiday Train Garden
During the winter when it is too cold for boat rides in the harbor, Project City Kids creates a Holiday Train Garden. This is a magic wonderland of sites, sounds and activities. Growing up in a city apartment means space is limited and few kids get to have their own electric train set. PCK solves this by creating the greatest train set of all and inviting all kids down for free to see and drive the trains.
Schedule: The next train garden will open in November 2010. Hours of operation: Wednesday - Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday & Sunday, 12 noon to 8 p.m.

Where to See the Trains: The Holiday Train Garden is built on the Manhattan Sailing Club's floating clubhouse (called the "Honorable William Wall"). The clubhouse is docked during the winter at North Cove Marina in Battery Park City, Lower Manhattan. For directions on how to get to North Cove, please visit www.sailmanhattan.com/Location%20North%20Cove.htm.
